Thoughtful answers, from the first conversation to the final installation.

01

When should LMS be involved in a project?

The earlier, the better. We recommend involving LMS during the concept or design-development stage, so lighting can be coordinated with the architecture, ceiling details, materials, electrical planning and overall project budget from the outset.

02

Can LMS work alongside my existing architect, interior designer or consultant?

Absolutely. We work as a lighting and automation partner alongside architects, interior designers, consultants and contractors—supporting your design intent rather than replacing it.

03

Can you design the lighting around my interior concept?

Yes. We begin with your design intent, materials, spatial proportions and the way the space is meant to feel. From there, we recommend the right fixtures, optics, colour temperatures, finishes and control systems to complement the design.

04

Can I see samples before finalising the lighting?

Yes. We can arrange product samples and, where required, on-site demonstrations to help you evaluate light quality, beam angles, finishes, colour temperature and how the fixture interacts with the actual materials and space.

This is particularly important for designers because the same fixture can feel very different depending on the ceiling height, wall finish, material palette and daylight conditions.

05

Can you work with our drawings and lighting layouts?

Yes. We work with project drawings and can assist with lighting layouts, fixture selection, technical specifications, lighting calculations and coordination with the electrical and interior teams.

06

How do you select the right light for a space?

We look beyond wattage. We consider factors such as beam angle, lumen output, CRI, colour temperature, glare, ceiling height, surface finishes and the intended mood of the space before recommending a fixture.

07

Can lighting be customised for a specific project?

Yes. We offer bespoke lighting solutions designed around the architecture and interior rather than being limited to standard catalogue products. This includes customised linear lighting, profiles, decorative fixtures and other architectural lighting solutions.

08

Can lighting and automation be planned together?

Yes. Lighting can be integrated with automation to create scenes and experiences tailored to how the space is used—from everyday lighting to entertaining, relaxation, work or hospitality settings.

09

Can you help us stay within the project budget?

Yes. We work within the project’s design and budget requirements, recommending suitable products, specifications and alternatives without compromising the intended lighting experience.

10

Do you only supply lighting, or do you also support installation?

We support the project beyond product supply. Our team can assist with technical coordination, installation guidance, commissioning and after-sales support to help ensure that the final execution matches the design intent.

11

Can you source lighting from international brands?

Yes. We work with a curated network of global lighting brands and suppliers, allowing us to source solutions based on design requirements, optical performance, quality, availability and project budget.

12

What types of projects does LMS work on?

We work across residential, commercial, hospitality and outdoor projects, providing architectural, decorative, custom, landscape and automation solutions tailored to each space.
